As the leaves begin to turn and a crispness enters the air, October invites us to slow down and reflect. It's a month that brings with it a gentle reminder to prioritise our inner world, just as nature prepares for its own period of rest and renewal. I believe that mental well-being is a journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
This October, I’m highlighting some important awareness days that resonate deeply with my mission to support your mental health:
October 10th: World Mental Health Day:
This globally recognised day serves as a powerful call to action, reminding us that mental health is a universal human right. It's a day to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and advocate for better mental health care worldwide. Take a moment today to check in with yourself and those around you. Small acts of kindness and understanding can make a huge difference.
October 12th-20th: National Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW):
MIAW provides an opportunity to fight stigma, provide support, educate the public, and advocate for equal care. Throughout this week, I encourage you to learn more about mental health conditions, share your own stories (if you feel comfortable), and connect with resources that can help. Understanding is the first step towards healing and acceptance.
Connecting with Your Inner Strength
Life can present us with many challenges, and sometimes we need a little extra support to navigate them. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, seeking clarity, or aiming to achieve personal goals, I offer a range of services designed to empower you:
A Thought for the Month
As October unfolds, remember to be kind to yourself. Just as the trees release what no longer serves them, consider what you might let go of to create more space for peace and joy in your life.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey to a happier, healthier you.
