As the days grow longer and summer begins to bloom, June offers us an opportunity not just to get outdoors and soak up the light, but also to shine a light inward—on our emotional wellbeing and the mental health of those around us.
Men’s Health Week (10–16 June): Time to Talk
This year’s Men’s Health Week is a vital reminder that mental health isn’t just a "women’s issue"—something society is thankfully recognising more and more. Statistics still show that men are less likely to seek help for mental health struggles, and the pressures of masculinity, stigma, and silence can all contribute.
This week, we encourage everyone—men and those who care about them—to open up conversations. Whether it’s a chat over a cup of tea, a walk with a friend, or reaching out to a coach or therapist, taking that first step can be life changing.
If you're a man who feels like you're carrying too much, or know someone who might be, now is a powerful time to connect. You don’t have to go it alone.
Father’s Day (15 June): The Many Faces of Fatherhood
Father’s Day can be joyful for some and complicated for others. It can bring up feelings of love, gratitude, grief, loss, or unresolved tensions. Whether you're a dad, have a dad, lost a dad, or never knew one—this day might stir emotions you weren’t expecting.
It’s okay to feel whatever you feel. Allow space for it. And remember that “fatherhood” can be expressed in countless ways—mentorship, friendship, guidance, support. If you're navigating tricky feelings this Father’s Day, be gentle with yourself. You're not alone.
Summer Mental Health: Tending to Your Inner Garden
June also marks the start of a new season. For many, summer is a time of activity and optimism—but for others, it can be a season that highlights loneliness, anxiety, or a sense of being left behind.
If you find summer hard, that’s valid. If you’re riding a wave of positivity, great—keep nurturing it. Either way, taking care of your mental health is just as important in the sunny months as it is in winter.
I'm Here When You’re Ready
Whether you're looking to talk, heal, grow, or simply explore what’s going on beneath the surface, our door is open. Talk therapy, coaching, and hypnotherapy can offer you a safe, supportive space to find clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of freedom.
Let June be a month of gentle progress. You don’t have to have all the answers—just a willingness to take the next step.
Warmest wishes,
